Quick note: This marks our first blog entry. You can't see us, but Aurélia and I are doing a jig. It's a blessing to step away from our sketching/designing/printing routine and share our stuff with you. Without further ado:
If you happen to rock one of our new Hail the Waffle shirts, available from our friends at Society6, you may encounter the same question. So, we've constructed the following handy sentence, to help you explain your position quickly and firmly:
My friend, I hold no grudge against pancakes, but the plain fact is that the Waffle Iron—a heavy, small appliance—is needed to create each and every waffle (while pancakes can be whipped up in the nearest frying pan), and Waffle Irons not only imbue their creations with crisp exteriors and moist interiors, but require meticulous cleaning and kitchen storage – all of which points to a final truth: pancakes are good, but waffles are extraordinary.
